5. How the Contact form works

The WebPeachy Contact form is processed through a PHP form handler hosted with Hostinger.

The form sends the information to a PHP endpoint on the WebPeachy website.
The handler validates the required fields and email format.
The handler applies spam and abuse controls.
The inquiry is emailed directly to info@webpeachy.com.
An authorized administrative copy may be delivered privately for business continuity.
The visitor's submitted email address is used as the Reply-To address.

Any administrative copy is not shown to the visitor and is not placed in the visible recipient list.

5.1 Spam and abuse prevention

The Contact form uses measures that may include:

A hidden honeypot field;
Required-field and email-format validation;
Field-length limits;
Removal of control characters;
Limits on the number of links in a message;
Origin checks;
A short per-IP submission rate limit;
Server and email-delivery logs.

The form may silently discard or reject a submission that appears automated, malformed, repetitive, abusive, or inconsistent with the form's intended purpose.

A hashed representation of the submitting IP address may be stored temporarily in the server's temporary directory for rate limiting. This measure is not intended to create a persistent visitor profile.

6. How we use personal information

WebPeachy may use personal information to:

7. Basis for processing

7.1 Consent

When you check the consent box and submit an inquiry, you authorize WebPeachy to use the submitted information to review and respond to the inquiry.

7.2 Steps taken at your request

WebPeachy may process information when you request a quotation, proposal, consultation, assessment, or service before entering into an agreement.

7.3 Contractual necessity

If you become a client, personal information may be processed to perform the agreement, deliver the project, communicate about services, process payments, and provide support.

7.4 Legal obligations

Information may be processed or retained to comply with tax, accounting, business, regulatory, court, or other legal requirements.

7.5 Legitimate business purposes

Where permitted by law, WebPeachy may process limited information to maintain security, prevent spam and fraud, keep business records, troubleshoot issues, protect legal rights, and improve service operations.

8. Cookies, browser storage, and analytics

8.1 Cookies

The current WebPeachy website does not intentionally use advertising cookies or behavioral-profiling cookies. Hosting, security, or linked third-party services may use cookies or similar technologies as part of delivering their services.

8.2 Browser storage

The current Hostinger-hosted Contact form does not require a persistent browser identifier for rate limiting. Rate limiting is performed by the server.

8.3 Analytics

The current website does not intentionally include a third-party analytics platform, advertising pixel, heatmap, or session-recording service.

If analytics or tracking technologies are added, WebPeachy will review whether an additional notice or consent mechanism is required before activation.

9. Google Fonts and externally hosted resources

The website may load fonts from Google Fonts. When a browser requests an externally hosted resource, the service provider may receive technical information required to deliver that resource, such as the requesting IP address, browser information, and requested file.

WebPeachy does not use Google Fonts to identify individual visitors. External providers process information under their own privacy terms.

WebPeachy may share or make personal information accessible only where reasonably necessary.

10.1 Hosting and email providers

Information may be processed through providers supporting website hosting, domains, PHP processing, business email, forwarding, backups, security, and diagnostic logs. The current website and inquiry handler use Hostinger resources.

10.2 Authorized email administration

A private administrative copy of an inquiry may be delivered to an authorized account used to monitor and respond to WebPeachy communications.

10.3 Project service providers

Where needed for an agreed project, information may be shared with selected providers supporting hosting, domain registration, content management, payments, scheduling, analytics, communications, cloud storage, project management, software integrations, or professional services.

10.4 Professional advisers and authorities

Information may be disclosed to accountants, legal advisers, insurers, regulators, courts, government authorities, or law enforcement when reasonably necessary or legally required.

10.5 Business changes

If WebPeachy undergoes a restructuring, sale, merger, or transfer of business assets, relevant records may be disclosed or transferred subject to appropriate safeguards.

11. International processing

WebPeachy works with clients and service providers that may operate in different countries. Personal information may therefore be processed outside the country where it was collected.

Where required, WebPeachy will take reasonable steps to support international processing with appropriate contractual, organizational, or legal safeguards.

12. Data retention

WebPeachy retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including legitimate business, legal, accounting, tax, security, contractual, and dispute-resolution requirements.

Unless a longer period is required or justified:

Inactive inquiries: up to 24 months after the last meaningful communication;
Prospective-client proposals: up to 24 months after discussions end;
Client and contractual records: for the engagement and up to seven years afterward;
Invoices and accounting records: for the period required by law;
Support records: for the service relationship and a reasonable period afterward;
Security and technical logs: for a short operational period unless needed for an investigation;
Rate-limit files: approximately five minutes, subject to temporary-server cleanup;
Email records: until no longer reasonably necessary for communication, recordkeeping, disputes, or compliance.

Information may be retained longer where required by law, needed for a legal claim, required to investigate abuse or a security incident, or subject to an unresolved complaint or transaction.

13. Security measures

WebPeachy uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the size of the operation. Measures may include:

HTTPS encryption for website traffic;
Access-controlled hosting and email accounts;
Strong passwords and multifactor authentication where available;
Fixed email recipients and controlled Reply-To handling;
Server-side form validation;
Honeypot, link-limit, and rate-limit protection;
Input cleaning and field-length limits;
Restricted file permissions;
Protected support and configuration files;
Website backups and software updates;
Limited access to inquiry and client records;
Monitoring of relevant website and email activity.

No internet transmission, email system, or storage platform can be guaranteed to be completely secure. WebPeachy cannot guarantee absolute security but will take reasonable steps to reduce foreseeable risks and respond to suspected incidents.

14. Your privacy rights

Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, you may have the right to:

WebPeachy may request reasonable verification before releasing, correcting, or deleting information. WebPeachy will respond within the period required by applicable law or within a reasonable time where no specific period applies.

16. Marketing communications

WebPeachy does not currently use Contact-form information for automated marketing campaigns. Submitting an inquiry does not automatically subscribe you to a newsletter.

If optional newsletters or promotional communications are introduced, enrollment will be voluntary, the purpose will be stated, an unsubscribe method will be provided, and this policy will be updated where necessary.

17. Payment information

The current Contact form does not collect payment-card details. If online payment functionality is introduced, payment information may be processed by a third-party payment provider under that provider's privacy policy and security terms.

18. Children's privacy

The WebPeachy website and services are intended for businesses, organizations, and adults seeking website-related services. They are not intentionally directed to children.

If you believe a child has submitted personal information without appropriate permission, contact info@webpeachy.com so the information can be reviewed and, where appropriate, deleted.

19. Third-party websites and services

This website may link to client websites, portfolio websites, social platforms, scheduling tools, hosting providers, payment services, external research sources, and software providers.

WebPeachy does not control and is not responsible for the privacy, security, availability, or content practices of third parties. Review the applicable privacy policy before submitting personal information to an external service.

20. Automated decision-making

WebPeachy does not currently use information collected through the Contact form to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Automated checks may identify likely spam, invalid submissions, excessive links, or repeated requests. A legitimate inquiry rejected by a form control may be submitted directly to info@webpeachy.com.

21. Data breaches and security incidents

If WebPeachy becomes aware of unauthorized access, loss, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of personal information, WebPeachy will take reasonable steps to:
